Pastor explains Cowboy Church

Q. What is Cowboy Church?

A.  Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship exists to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ in a western heritage setting.  We "do church" cowboy style...  Country & western style praise and worship music, a timeless culturally relevant message, arena events, dances & other events relevant to the western heritage.  We are a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church, unafraid to teach and preach the timeless message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Q. What do y'all believe?

A.  We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe that the Bible is God's Holy written instruction for our lives.  We believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave to demonstrate His power over sin and death.  And we believe God's grace shown through His salvation plan is for anyone who would confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, seeking a real relationship with Him!

Q. I'd like to get involved.  What should I do?

A.  We would love for you to be a part!  Cowboy church does the work through teams.  Each of our teams welcome new folks.  You do not have to be an official "member" of the church to check out or join a Team.  Be sure to pickup a Teams brochure on the table in the back of the sanctuary.

Q.  How can I get to know folks and grow in my relationship with the Lord?

A.  A great way to connect is through our Wednesday night "Round Pen" group.  It is a time when a group of folks get together around some tables, grab a cup of coffee, study the word of God, ask questions and occasionally there is a chocolate cake involved.

Q.  How do I officially "Join the Church"?

A.  Your first visit to us, you might be a guest but from here on out, you are family!  You are welcome to "join in" as you feel comfortable.  Those who want to know more and are considering, officially joining are encouraged to attend our next Saddle Up.  At "Saddle Up" you can find out about our beliefs, our vision as a church body and the way we "do church".  At that time you can fill out a response card letting us know that you are ready to officially join the church.  Please see the service brochure for the next scheduled Saddle Up.
